Which program you can use for editing your photos for free?

Before you start to consider which graphic software for editing your pictures do you need, take a time just to thinking over what you will do with that.

FOR NON PROFESSIONALS:

Are you not a professional (photographer, graphic designer)
So how and why do you need to edit your pictures? Probably you use only a few tools - notably following ones:

Only for nice Saturday: How I caught with my spy camera lovely fox by running on the roof and fence :-)

This is place where I usually can see walking or running neighbor´s cats. So when I watched this place yesterday I noticed something unusual - lovely fox. When she (or he) discovered I observe her and I am taking camera to my hands she started with a little panic and then she discovered. But it was nice and surprising meeting for me.

Why seems to be an online shopping more creative then classical ´offline´ one? And where is ´the catch´?

Could be online shopping more inspirational then walking down the Oxford Street and enjoying hustle & bustle of the city during a real shopping? But what about the depressing crowds they don´t allow you move yourself for bloody one step without bumping into the someone other. On the other side of hand during online shopping you cannot use all your senses for trying out your favourite gift?

Could a magic Christmas dwarves make an European Union thanks to Brexit a better place for all of us?

Pretty cheesy and smarmy looking dwarves and elfish, wearing a stickers ´Merry Christmas´, big as such a normal small dog, surprised me at my last shopping in one of biggest supermarket store close my London´s home.
I went to the store and wanted take a shopping basket and as usually continue into store shopping my normal weekly grocery stuff. But I was not able to continue in my path. I simply could not believe. There were standing lots of Christmas dwarves (according to long and pointed ears it was an Irish based dwarves - but I wont to say that directly cos it is probably not political correct to judge someone only by his exterior even should be a Christmas dwarves), staring at me - be fair - by very nice and friendly way, that´s truth, but...

Don´t change your change for a chicken burger. You could look like a charity case... as me

Highly concentrated, as dealing with money does usually require, I was rummaging in my wallet to picking up change. Probably normally stuff but I did something wrong there  - I don´t know what. And that started a small crazy story.
Oh, maybe it took me a little bit more time then is usual and my business attracted attention of people around me in the fast food where I was standing in the front of cashier.
I had a great two ideas - the first one was: take something to nibble and the second one: one and rid off my wallet lots of change. For this reason I took a chicken burger for only 99 p which I usually don´t eat. But two great advantages: quick food in a busy day and make my wallet lighter.
I was almost done when suddenly some man next to me waiting for his food walked up and put on the desk one pound with a laugh and said: "Oh, just take it."

How dangerous anti-Semitism could be that´s what I spoke with professor Bauer about

There is one part of interview what I took with professor Yehuda one month ago after his lecture ´Anti-Semitism in the modern age´ hold at London School of Economic and Political Science.
I really do like his explanation of that and especially his note that Anti-Semitism should be dangerous and destroy society. I hope we all can learn from history and won´t repeated it (maybe not exactly what happened during the Shoah but in another form).
Really I find very strange what happens at UK´s Labor Party last months and hope that everything is just a misunderstandig.

What do you think about point of view of Prof. Yehuda Bauer about Anti-Semitism in the Labour Party (UK)

Where is the beginning and the end of your take?

LONDON - You can do only quick and simple take. If you want capture for example long queue of waiting people (in that case it was about the line in the front of Science museum in London - people they were waiting for late opening of museum) you can make a great training of a ´panoramic shot´. How you can do this? It is quite simply. Just start your take on the beginning or on the end of the line. Start your take without a move, just keep your camera without move on the place, you can count to three (one, two, three) and then continue - move your camera through the like and then stop it - but not recording -only move of camera - on some stable point - the end or the beginning of the queue ´, just keep it and count for three again and then you can stop recording. This is method how you can do it quite professional ´not shaking´ video and video ´with a concept´  - with beginning and end what marks good take.

Don´t hesitate and make a short video everyday - capture the story what is passing by right now !

Sometimes people spent lots of time with thinking over the ideas for the video. This is great but not in the moments if you need to start with that and you hesitate if your idea and draft is good or no. Actually the true is that the small everyday stories are in every moment happened around as. You just need grasp your camera, take a moment for make a ´action plan´ what and how you will be filming and you can start.
This video I did tonight at St. Pancras International Station when I was coming back from my business meeting. I took short moment for quick ´draft´ of my upcoming video.

The Battle of Britain is going to its final part but without a winner

Remain or Leave Europe. Everybody cannot wait
for the light on the end of the tunnel.
London - Final decision after long months of debates and one big victim. If do you think that in case of ´Remain´ (UK in EU) will be everything o.k. again I have to strictly say definitely NO. No way. Britain is gonna be never the same one as was before the Referendum. Everything has changed forever.

I wasn´t sleeping well this night. Despite of hit the sack earlier as usually I was waken up many times and hardly came back to sleep. Outside was raging storm and lightnings were crossing the sky unmercifully. It was quite unexpectedly for me after a couple of nice days and nights. But we are in Britain and there is Weather very specific and I should checked the Weather Forecast to knew that. This is like a Referendum. Today is Pooling Day and I know that and long time ago it was raging storm inside the UK - inside the Brits. But today... Morning was quiet... just continuous and heavy rain. The air was full of water and humidity was increasing perhaps in every single moment. In the tube was stifling. I couldn´t take my breath. But I have to say... it was not just about the air... Something more heavy has been in the air today (and still it is...). The big ´Hamlet´s decision´ about be or not to be (in EU)...

It isn´t sh*t as the Shard and how I did sh*t in the Stand up Comedy

The Shard in London Bridge Borough
The Sh*t exposition in Tate Modern

I could realize this is maybe not a promising idea to speak about. I mean that - what you can see on the images above and bellow the text. But it is nothing else than great artwork - an great piece of the modern art. When I have been leading our Photo & Video workshops in Tate Modern (one of greatest galleries in London) I cannot miss one exposition. There is one of them which cases embarrassment of the people. This is a ´sh*t exposition´ . How you can see it is really interesting :-). Usually people don´t think that they can take some advantages of that (obviously who is able to take some advantages of sh*ts...).
Be honest I was not very excited as well when I could see that for a first time there. It is quite strange but this ´sh... exposition´ remember me my beginnings in London and my first steps in learning proper English pronunciation.

Even if is death dark one, your flash could manage the picture very well, but worst is with a screen of camera and your eyes

Mundo Lingo - Camden _ April 2016

Photographers Point of view: Last Monday in Camden at Mundo Lingo I took some pictures (o.k. - many of them :-))) ) - you can find out more of them on my Flicker - above (just click on the picture) or on ML Facebook.  It was nice as usually - really many people were coming - which was an excellent one but for me like a photographer it was not easy - bar was so full I had to manage myself very carefully cos I was always squeeze between some people and only hardly could make one step behind or into side for reached better point of view to taking a great picture.
And second thing was - there was not lighting in half of venue in the part of bar where usually held a place Mundo Lingo - so it was really pretty tricky to take the pictures here. Fortunately I have got great and very flexible flash so it was an excellent one but be honest - in my screen on the camera sometimes was so dark I could just guess what I am taking pictures in the moment :-D. So it was really funny - great exercises for my eyes.
Finally I discovered I have had an great eyes - like a cat :-D - and I took lot of great pictures I think. So - just small tip for you who take a pictures under a little bit tricky conditions - don´t give up - always you can manage great pictures! :-D. Cos always it depend on the people they are before the camera - and in Camden on Mundo Lingo were great people as usually! :-) I am looking forward to you all today as usually at the same place and the same time ! :-)

I am too short - the bar staff oversight me!

How you can see there is lot of fun at Mundo Lingo Language Exchange every Monday (Tuesday or Wednesday:-) ). This regularly guest of ML - Viet - tried speak German. He is cheerful Vietnam (but long time living in UK) guy who is sometimes depressed by Bar staff cos he is a little bit short in height. Last time he went to the bar to buy some drink. We continued in discussion and waiting for him. But he didn´t come back quite long time (longer then is usually in the British bars - which is really record cos English queues on the bar are really... what could I say... this is the British way - waiting and making queues everywhere for everything cos the British style is be very slow, no rush in any cases... dead slow really... I think when British people come to the Europe - specially to the Germany or my original country or to USA - obviously they should stay in shock probably :-).
But last time I really like this ´sleepy living style here´ - more sleepy style exist I think only in Italia or Spain, etc. But here you could expect that and has it reason - hot weather, siesta, etc. But UK? Oh... maybe actually people are tired by Weather as well... :-)  ) . So when Viet reached the record in ´waiting in the queue at the bar´ and come back, he said just: "The bar staff did oversight  me cos I am too short and not enough tall to be seen behind the bar." And then he started to take some exercised in German :-)

Do you need get your speaking English on the next level? ... or another language? Let me welcome you in Mundo Lingo London

Me (left) and South Korea Girl (right)
I really like Language Exchange meetups in London - my favourite of them is Mundo Lingo and maybe this is the reason why I help the organiser with a reception and sticking the flags to the people:-).
It was last Monday, evening, at the Mundo Lingo in Camden. AS usually I helped Jim, organizer ML London, with reception which means greetings the people from all over the world who are living or visiting London being happy to take a practise in English speaking and meet a new people - and British people living in London who would like to speak in foreign languages as well.
For quick orientation who is who – we provide them flags and the people place them on their chest, native flag goes at the top, on the bottom others flag – in my case come first the Czech flag, then English and on the end German. I would like to write more but last time I am little bit short in time so I prefer making short videos. So you can watch this one and right now I am heading to the Mundo Lingo in Camden and I hope I will make another video and I will write you more as well! Have a great time and if you don´t know what you are doing this evening or on Tuesday or on Wednesday then you can come in and take some language practice :-).

How you can survive if do you have a temperature more then 42 degree of Celsius? Never give up !

I was sick. Not just one week but three last weeks. A few days I was better and then again I got worst and again and over again - in the circle.. I denied using antibiotics cos I wanted to recovery myself by natural way. Oh great! It has taken a long time but I was successful:). But one day, for one moment, I almost gave up all my efforts ´no antibiotics way´.
I took my thermometer to find out how hight my temperature is and I terribly screamed, cos... OMG! My temperature was 42 Degree of Celsius! Actually... more then that...

How we can work with a golden ratio and put emphasis on the main topic of the picture

The golden ratio is really excellent tool – sometimes we can change by using it the main topic of the picture as well. Let you show me two pictures – actually it is just one – edited.
If you take pictures where is everything important placed right in the middle of the picture and don’t try to keep a ´golden ratio rule´ then it is a big pity. Cos then you could lose concentration of your viewers – it is so easy and so straightforward and there is not space for thinking. And it is not space for playing with the main motive.
There are two pictures – one of them is taking for main motive the village between the mountains and the second marks the mountains and the village is just a ´second motive´.
You can see where the ´golden ratio´ Is placed and ´divide´ the picture?:-)

The main motive of  this photography is ´a Village in the valley´

Great story about the Journey to the West - the plucky Sun Wu Kung is celebrating this Year of Monkey in Soho. Don´t miss it!

Me with a Monkey King  - Sun Wu Kung - the best monkey ever ;-)     Photo by: Bo Zhao

From my childhood I have really loved the old Chinese legend The journey to the West. It is based on true story from years 629645 about Monk - in the novel called Tripitaka - who was wandered for a sacred scrolls of Sutras from the Tang empire to IndiaThere were the Monkey King - who was gifted by magic power but was very independent and cheeky

How you can get your photo on the excellent level? Old secret of Leonardo da Vinci and many other artists: GOLDEN RATIO

This picture (of myself :-) ) is created by the rule Golden ratio
- you can compare with the picture of  ratio bellow.  Photo by Hoai Le Thi
Indeed – this is an old secret of many artists used across times.  Yes: It looks maybe a little bit complicated. But don´t be worry – you can catch it and within get your photos on a higher level. That´s one very useful rule which is called GOLDEN CUT or GOLDEN RATIO.
It is expressed by math – so maybe it is a reason why it looks so complicated – especially for us – who have never been great in Math J
There is official description of Golden ratio (Uaaaa!!! This sounds creepy for me… - sorry for that – but if we are talking about Golden ratio we have to say that J ):

Two quantities are in the golden ratio if their ratio is the same as the ratio of their sum to the larger of the two quantities. The figure on the right illustrates the geometric relationship. Expressed algebraically, for quantities a and b with a > b > 0.

O.k. and now - I am going to continue in a normal language…

The best place for celebrating st. Valentine´s day is… Where your heart already is …

Petřín - the Czech  - Bohemia - Montmartre :-) Photo by wiki
Lot of people think the most romantic place all over the world is... Paris! Indeed. One half of story in Casablanca – great film with Ingrid Bergman and Humphrey Bogard – is talking and remembering about Paris. Another one - Something gotta give - with amazing Diane Keaton, Jack Nicolson and Keane Revers is about great wish ´spend Christmas in Paris´. Or what about Sex and the City – there is indeed one very important plot of this story filmed again... in Paris. And I could going on with counting films or other occasions about ´Romantic place = Paris´. What it was my great surprise when some people was starting to say to me they were in Prague (capital of the Czech Republic – my country – what is placed in the middle of Europe – exactly geographically and for this reason is called ´the heart of Europe´) and think that it is very romantic place and then some of them said exactly ´Oh, Prague is more romantic then Paris´. I couldnot believed. But I have had no comparison cos I have never been in Paris...  until last month.

How to take a great pictures: What is better – DSLR camera or mobile phone? Great camera is an amazing thing, but does not make a professional from you

Jakub - one of my students
at Photo and Video courses - with DSLR Camera.
But be honest - he is very good cameraman on the end of the day.
He don´t like DSLR Camera - he prefer big VIDEO camera
- this camera is very ´small´ for him. He said: "Oh, this is just like
a a toy. This is the reason why
I am not a photographer but prefer be a cameraman." :-)
Are you crazy about photography? Do you have just mobile and last time have been considering to acquire DSLR Camera (Digital Single-Lens Reflex) and get more professional pictures?  Why not – but! Just remember one thing: An equipment doesn´t make professional pictures – still is up to you! Just the attitude and talent make professional look from your pictures. That s all….
Yes, of course – if do you have  a professional camera – do you have more options and  you can use more technical ways what could help you making better your pictures… But  this is just….  Something like a cherry on the top of  cake…
What do you really need is a great eye! Your own eye... Look around you and notice interesting people, situation, things, landscape…. – be able  to notice small story around you and be able to capture them. Expression in the eyes of the people they are….. surprised, happy, sad, annoyed…  Or some absurd and interesting, extraordinary or just ordinary things…..  Make a good composition, a point of view, etc. This is the most important one! Making a great and strong – powerful atmosphere inside your picture….
The picture what is telling a story… This questions are very important - more important then ´taking pictures by mobile or DSLR Camera´. The answer is here: ´If you are great and gifted photographer you could take a wonderful pictures by mobile as well. In the moment you can feel your pictures are great and you are really passionate photographer then the moment for DSLR Camera is here... But if you would like start taking pictures by DSLR Camera before you take some practice and be passionate photographer by mobile (or normal - digital compact camera)

„You don´t speak French?“ asked me surprised with amused expression in his face one guy at Mundo Lingo Paris. There was following a short discussion why I am in Paris if I don´t speak French. As usually I was at Mundo Lingo – but it was not every monday evening and it was not in London where I am almost always last more then half year one of ambassadors of Mundo Lingo. Actually it was Thursday and it was in Paris.
One thing what I do really like at this Language Exchange is meeting new people, speak with them, discovering new stories and obviously making up my English and refreshing my German. These were my goals for Mundo Lingo London.
When I planed my trip to Paris it was almost at the same time when Mundo Lingo Paris was launched by energic student Anais Peria. Immediately occured me it will be amazing visit this event during my visit in Paris. I was really curious if it will be almost same like in London.

Lidl is everywhere...) then receptionist of small hotel at the periferie (actually it was not periferie - just a fifteen minutes by walk from Square Republique.

Big ´Birds drama ´. Why Hitchckock did not make the Birds in France? ME IN PARIS 1 part

I couldnot believe Alfred Hitchckock didnot write the drama ´Birds´ in Paris!
It was very cold and freezing. Since I got out of the train from London at Paris Gare du Nord I couldnot get me warm. It was quite early for check-in in the hotel so I decided go somewhere. But it was my first time in Paris and I had no very much time to make some plan for Paris.
Actualy - I had amazing plan for Paris a few month ago but how it is sometimes with planes - it changes. And I was just here without plan.
I wanted to see Mona Lisa actually. So I have gone to the tube - metro. After lovely moments when I realized I was not in rose tube line but in purple line - so this is probably reason I was going absolutely ´nowhere´, I fixed myself and changed the tube for the right line. Finally I discovered I am at the good stop where is Louvre.

“Stop be like Cinderella,” sharply warned me mother a day before my Birthday. “It is dangerous!” Kissing Cinderella

As a little girl I had an excellent auntie what I appreciated and admired very much. I wished to be like her one day. She was a sister of my grandfather from my father side. She was brave and kind. Her name was Cinderella.
She was always a pretty and clever lady with excellent manners and she founded her big love what was her husband the director of brewery and his surname was Cinders (translated from my language) so after their wedding nobody call her otherwise then Cinderella. She have had an amazing and very fitting name – in my language is Liba (translated to English does mean ´kissing´). So how you can see... my auntie.. ´Kissing Cinderella´ was very... full of inspiration! :-).
She looked after him and their children, was very active and passionate and has ´never gave up´ - positive approach to the life. After her husband death she continued with her work and started be independent accountant to earn money for travelling across the word just alone. She wore chick bonnets and always when she arrived from some far placed destination, including Egypt, India, South America, etc. came in to us and told us lot of amazing stories and her adventures. I liked her and I wanted be like her. My family is very conservative and she was absolutely opposite. She was really how it is wrote down in screenplay of fairytale fiction film Cinderella – she was really kind and brave. My mum is still suffering I has got her spirit. My mum is whole life living in the same town – and actually in the same street – living and working as well (she is an teacher and the school is next door of my parents house). She is worried about me lot of. I am sometimes travelling as well (and last time moved to the London...).

This year does not exist for me: 2016 makes me ´time gap!´

Every year I need a few days for accustomed to writing down new date - year. Sometimes I make lot of mistake and if I have to write down that cos I write right day and month but wrong year. But this year is really special and a little bit creepy or me.
Yesterday I have spoken with my mother and I wanted to say her what I will be doing in February and I just said that I will do it February 2th 2015. She did answer: “ I don´t think so... It has done..” My mum is very accurate in expression – as every teacher. So I wanted repair myself and I said: “Of course mum just it is not need to kidding me with that. Do you know very well I wanted say February 2th 2017!”
Mum started to laugh. I did not realized why. Then I recognized my mistake and I repaired myself again and I said AGAIN 2015 and then repair to 2017...
For some reason is my subconsciousness perhaps against this year - 2016. Maybe cos Monkey´s Chinese year is coming. It looks like ´monkey´s joke´.
So it seems to be living in a ´time gap´ for me this year... :-).
PS: Just short notice: I have already written the headline of this post and I automatically wrote 2017 instead 2016. So has done;-).

She was pregnant with her friend (but not boy friend) - he was her ´best friend´. But when she told to him that she is pregnant he answore her he wont this child and recomended abortion to her. She become be very angry and stopped speak with him and stayed pregnant. And she clamed her daughter has NO father and she refused to say WHO is father of her daughter to her doctor and write down to the Birth certificate his name.
